A light of the past that can only be seen through the light of the present
The Summer, the Atmosphere, the Sun, Jamie, the Dew, the Rain and beyond
'A light of the past that can only be seen through the light of the present' explores interconnection by making visible an atmospheric being captured on 7 May, 2024 through the existing sunlight.
This installation was created in the liminal space between inside and outside, using a window to connect an archive of living beings with the ever-changing phenomena outside. The shapes in the window were only visible from 9 am to 12 pm, when the sun crossed the window. This also created an invisible presence within the space where the shapes were projected onto the floor and moved with the changing sunlight. At other times, the shapes were blurry and unidentifiable
